A PHENOMENAL STORY WORTH TELLING
Some stories are larger than life. This is one of those stories.
THIS STORY WARRANTS A BIGGER VENUE THAN A MERE BLOG POST, BUT.....The story of love and dedication.

Sometimes, a story about diligence and dedication to a goal has to be told, and this is one of them. This is the story of a simplistic Nintendo video game from the beginnings of gaming in the 80s that fandom refused to let die.
The game Mother, known as Earthbound Beginnings outside of Japan struck a cord with fans as an interactive part of Earth culture that transcended a mere fad.
When the corporate world of Nintendo ditched the game, the cult following all over the world formed an group online and protested, petitioned, and finally decided to write the sequel themselves though most of them had no idea how to actually code a game.
Miraculously, ten years later, the new game known affectionately as Mother 3 and Earthbound Beginnings has arrived and is in the works to appear soon all over the world. A tribute to a worldwide dedication of a small group of fans that resurrected a true gem of culture.
